Clarence J. Heinen, 89, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Monday morning, March 30, 2015, at Pine Haven Christian Home. Clarence was born on December 10, 1925, at home in Random Lake, WI. Clarence was a son of Nicholas and Gertrude (Grasser) Heinen. He attended school in a one room school house just up the road from the family farm. He served his country in the United States Navy. On July 30, 1949, Clarence married the love of his life, Genevieve "Jenny" A. Reichardt. They enjoyed 56 years together until she passed away on July 27, 2005. He missed her dearly every day since and now they are reunited once again in heaven. Clarence was a firm believer in working hard and he did that working at Kohler for 38 years in the pottery division, retiring in February 1988. He instilled that work ethic in all of his children. Clarence was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. He was an avid reader and enjoyed going for walks, bird watching, going to antique shows, and tinkering around. Clarence is survived by his daughter, Ruth (Mike) Wirth of Sheboygan Falls; his three sons, Larry (Debra) Heinen of Sheboygan Falls, Jim (Brenda)Heinen of Sheboygan Falls, and Ralph (Bonnie) Heinen of Sheboygan Falls; 17 grandchildren; Michelle, Laurie, Gary Jr., Brian, Walter, Karen, Nick, Jenny, Chris, Joe, Josh, Jill, Stephanie, Tanya, Peter, Johnny and Samantha; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Louise Heinen and two brothers, Robert and Bill Heinen. Further survived by nieces, nephews, sisters and brother-in-law, other relatives and friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Genevieve, his sons, Gerald and Clarence Jr. Heinen, his daughter, Mary Brendel, brothers and sisters, Edward, Donald, Bernice and Marie. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Clarence's life will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will take place at St. George Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Wilson Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 9:00 am. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 5pm until the time of service at 7pm. A memorial fund has been established in Clarence's name for Sharon S Richardson Community Hospice.
