Chester Hoderny

Chester W. Hoderny, 53, of Sheboygan died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 18, 2016 while a patient at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center. Chester was born on November 1, 1962 in Erie, PA, the son of Ignatius and Helen (Kupniewski) Hoderny. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1981. Chester was a laborer at various factories in the Sheboygan area. Chester enjoyed being with family and friends, working on cars, attending car shows, watching the Green Bay Packers, but most of all he cherished the time he could spend with his grandson, Blake. Chester is survived by his son, James (Greta) Hoderny of Sheboygan; and a step daughter, Brandi Reinwand of Sheboygan. Chester was "dziadek" (Polish for grandpa) to his dear grandson, Blake Hoderny. He is also survived by his Fiancé, Chris Winscher; one sister, Janet Shorts, of Sussex; four brothers, William (Carol) Hoderny and Joseph (Angie) Hoderny both of Erie, PA, Jim "Jungle" (Kathy) Hoderny of Kiel, and Steven (Kathy) Hoderny of Sheboygan; nieces and nephews. Chester was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Carl Shorts. A celebration of Chester's life will take place at the home of his brother, Jim Hoderny located at 19109 Point Creek Road, Kiel, WI 53042 on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 3-6 pm. Private burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Sheboygan.
