Charles "Ozzie" A. Seymour, 94, of Sheboygan Falls, went to be with his Savior on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at The Waterford of Plymouth. Charles was born on April 14, 1922, son of Walter and Clara (Malmstead) Seymour. He proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army, and also the US Air Force until 1945. Following his military service, he studied art which he cherished as a passion through his life. On October 4, 1958, he married Eva Pennington in Marinette. Charles was employed as an electrical engineer at Kohler Company and others until his retirement in 1982. Charles was a member of Falls Community Church, where he served as an elder and Sunday school teacher. Charles enjoyed square dancing with his wife and camping with his family as a part of the Jolly Campers Camping Group. Charles and Eva retired in Apache Junction, Arizona for 20 years, where he was active in the Casa Blanca Retirement Community. He enjoyed golfing, coffee with the guys, dominoes, was proud to be able to create greeting cards on his computer for those he loved, and growing his lemon trees in his yard. In October of 2012, Charles and his wife returned to Wisconsin where they cherished visits and Sunday dinner with his family. Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eva; his two daughters, Vicky Seymour and Pam (Chuck) Clemens, both of Sheboygan Falls; his daughter-in-law, Nancy Sewell; eleven grandchildren, Robert Daniels, Jessica (Keith) Keller, Carrie (Dave) Behr, Elizabeth Clemens, Britney (Chase) DeVrou, Michele Bradley, Dawn Hall, Mariah Sewell, Marie Sewell, Dan (Kim ) Sewell, and Lisa (Jimmy) Murphy; many loved great and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, George Seymour, and his sister-in-law, Bess Seymour and many loved nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, three step-sons, Thomas Sewell, Stephen Sewell , and Geoffery Sewell; one sister, Helen Gressel. two brothers, Fred Seymour, and Vernon Seymour; A memorial service to celebrate Charles' life will be held at the Wenig Funeral Homes of Oostburg on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11am. Relatives and friends may gather for a time of visitation at the funeral home from 9:30am until the time of service at 11am. A memorial fund has been established in Charles' name for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. The staff of the Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls (920-467-3431) is assisting Charles' family with arrangements.
