Charles "Chuck" Porter, 67, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at his home. Chuck was born on March 14, 1947, in Antigo, son of Harlan and Ersella (Flader) Porter. He attended Antigo and Sheboygan South High School, and also received his Associate's degree from Lakeshore Technical College. On February 23, 1999, he married Virginia E. Peltier in Las Vegas. Chuck was a supervisor at Tecumseh Die Cast in Sheboygan Falls for 34 years until his retirement in 2005. Chuck enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling, and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Chuck is survived by his wife of 16 years, Virginia; his daughter, Melissa Mueller of Sheboygan; his granddaughter, Allee Mueller; one great-grandson, Kayden Mueller; two sisters, Donna Strauch of Appleton and Bonnie Hurlbert of Northfield, MN; one brother, Larry (Gerriann) Porter of Sheboygan; special mother-in-law, Delia Peltier of Ontario, Canada; ten sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; two special nephews, Alex Dallas of Toronto and David Dallas of Sheboygan; and other nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers-in-law, Julius Strauch and Lew Hurlbert. Memorial services to celebrate Chuck's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Chaplain Donna Van Orden officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Chuck's name.
