Carole Kind

Carole E. Kind, 87, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Friday morning, July 31, 2015, at Pine Haven Christian Home. Carole was born on March 22, 1928, in Sheboygan, daughter of Henry and Mabel (Noel) Englebert. She was a 1946 graduate of Sheboygan Central High School. On May 10, 1947, she married Wesley Kind in Sheboygan. Carole was a member of Sheboygan Evangelical Free Church, where she was active in Forever Young and the Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF). She was an active supporter of Campus Life and member of the Sheboygan Christian Women's Club. Carole enjoyed travel, knitting, sewing, cooking, baking, and decorating. Carole is survived by her husband of 68 years, Wesley; her two daughters, Sheryl (Rob) Dambeck of Yuma, AZ and Shelley (Chris) McGhee of Bloomington, IL; seven grandchildren, Rachel (Jeremy) Porier, Nathan (Amber) Scholten, Abigail Dambeck, Hannah (Joey) DeNise, Ashley, Carley, and Anna McGhee; four great-grandchildren, Aiden and Micah Porier, and Matthew and Eli DeNise; one sister, Darlene Guikuma of Georgia; one brother, Henry (Marilyn) Engelbert of Sheboygan; and one sister-in-law, Judy Englebert. Carole was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Scholten, three sisters, Hildegard Weinkopt, Duleine Pierce, and Joan Kleyn, and her brother, Harris Englebert. A private family service was held and memorial service is pending. A memorial fund has been established in Carole's name for Sheboygan Evangelical Free Church.
