Carol Ann Wachter

Carol Ann Wachter, 89, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center.

Carol was born to Bernard and Anna (Yehle) Eichmann on September 21, 1934, in Sheboygan. She grew up in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan North High School.

Carol was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Wachter on August 24, 1957.

Carol was an avid walker, veracious reader, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Carol is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter Chris (Jeff) Casper; grandchildren, Brooke Casper, Lindee (Eric) Brill, Billy (Niki) Claerbout; great-grandchildren, Abby, Preston, and Henry Brill, Lola, Nora, and Makehl Claerbout; brother-in-law, Fritz Wachter; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Claerbout; parents; brother, James (Carol) Eichmann; sisters-in-law, Charlene (Art) Perry, Audrey Wachter

A private memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held. She will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.

Memorials are appreciated in Carol’s name to the Sheboygan Falls Legion Post 149.
