Carol Joan Schumacher

Carol Joan Schumacher, 94, formerly of Kohler, was welcomed into our Lord’s loving embrace, on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Pine Haven Christian Communities – Haven Drive.

Carol was born on October 5, 1929, to Hugo and Hubertina (Rammer) Landgraf. She was united in marriage to Robert Schumacher II on September 2, 1961. Together, they raised their family in Glendale.

Carol loved to travel. She was a selfless woman, who had an adventurous spirit. Carol enjoyed playing tennis, swimming, skiing, and biking. She was a woman of unwavering faith and a true prayer warrior for many. Her love for the Lord and her family were most important. Carol loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert G.; children, Karen Cannon, Robert (Robyne) Schumacher, Susan Conway; grandchildren, Holly (Marcus) Waugh, Caleb (Alys) Cannon, Mackenzie Cannon; great-grandchild, James Cannon.

She was preceded in death by her son, Stuart Schumacher; son-in-law, Marty Conway; parents and siblings.

A funeral service will be held to celebrate Carol’s life at Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 11:00am. She will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler.

Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Carol’s name to Living Hope Bible Church.
