Carl Delmont Hesselink, age 72, of 125 Spring Street, Sheboygan Falls, died at Sheboygan Progressive on Saturday evening, July 21, 2007 with his family by his side. Carl was born on September 7, 1934, in Gibbsville, the son of the late Irvin and Marie (Verhulst) Hesselink. He attended Horace Mann School and Oostburg High School. On November 1, 1956, he married the former Patricia Lee Greisch in Dubuque , Iowa. For many years, Carl was employed as a truck driver for Dean Foods in Sheboygan. In retirement, he worked at Stainless Steel with his nephew. Carl was a great husband who loved and adored his wife, of 51 years, Pat, and his entire family. He was a member of Life Community Church in Plymouth. He enjoyed outside work, working on the family farm and woodworking. He was a pitcher, who loved softball and had 3 no hitters to his credit. He was a Packer and Brewer fan who enjoyed camping with his wife, in their trailor, in Franklin. Survivors include his wife, Pat, three sons, Rick Hesselink of Sheboygan Falls, Brooks (Kris) Hesselink, Town of Sheboygan, and Curt (Laura) Hesselink of Broken Arrow, OK, nine grandchildren, Jesse, Sara, Jackie, Justin, Alex, Evan, Wade, Andrew and Abigail, three sisters, Caroline (Edward) Meyer and Jane (Gary) Jensema all Gibbsville and Annette (Ed) Pamperin of Kohler, four brothers, Ronald (Margie) Hesselink and Mark (Barb) Hesselink all of Oostburg, Vilas (Ellen) Hesselink of Pembine and Dr. John (Dr. Kay) Hesselink of LaJolla, CA, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. A private family service will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with burial at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Memorials appreciated for the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
