Carl Gilbert

Carl C. Gilbert, 90, of Sheboygan, died at his residence on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Carl was born on November 23, 1924 in Chicago. He attended local schools there. Carl served in the US Army during World War II. On August 31, 1987 he married Nina Wills in Milwaukee. Carl was a bus driver for the Milwaukee Transit for 24 years before his retirement in 1995. Carl is survived by his wife, Nina of Sheboygan; three daughters, Yolanda Gilbert of Sheboygan, Arleen Gilbert of Sheboygan, Tina (Larry) Holmes of Las Vegas; two sons, Spencer Gilbert of Sheboygan and Carl Gilbert Jr.; and four grandchildren. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. Private family services will be held in Carl's memory.
