Brianna Brunner

Brianna Claire Brunner, 16 of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Brianna was born on November 13, 1998, in Green Bay, daughter of Bruce and Victoria (Braun) Brunner. She attended St. Mary Catholic School, and was active in Girl Scouts and 4-H. Brianna was currently attending Sheboygan Falls High School, where she was active in track, volleyball, FFA, and the Community Service Club. She played saxophone in the band and was an Honor Roll student. Brianna was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed animals, water skiing, horseback riding, wholistic health, art and photography, nature and the environment, and camping. Through it all she remained a "fashionista". Brianna especially enjoyed going to the Green Lake cottage, time with family, cousins and friends, and Spencer, the dog. She enjoyed her special trip with her Aunt Terri to the Grand Tetons, and was the recipient of a Make a Wish trip to Philadelphia to see spiritual author, Brian Weiss. Brianna faced her illness with grace, courage, and dignity. Her wish for everyone was to live in peace, happiness, and love. Brianna is survived by her parents, Bruce and Vicky Brunner; her sister, Sami Brunner of Sheboygan Falls; her grandparents, Tom and Betty Brunner of Cecil and Jim and Claire Braun of Green Lake; and great-grandparents, Judge Robert and Elizabeth Parins of Green Bay and Anne Braun of Ripon. Brianna is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Brianna was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Art and Elinor Brunner, Milton and Violet Malueg, and Alfred Braun. A memorial service to celebrate Brianna's life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 17, 2015, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Lotz and Rev. Tim Shillcox officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Martin Cemetery in Cecil. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the church on Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, followed by a prayer service and sharing time, and on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. A memorial fund has been established in Brianna's name for Sheboygan County Humane Society. Brianna's family would like extend a special thank you to her second family of caregivers at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for their compassionate care.
