Brian Fears

Brian D. Fears, 51, of Howards Grove, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center. Brian was born on May 6, 1964, in Lackawanna, NY, son of Joseph Bobbit and Joyce Y. Fears. He was a 1983 graduate of Riverside High School in Buffalo, NY. Brian received his Bachelor's degree from Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights and his Master's degree from Adler School of Professional Psychology. On June 17, 1989, he married Jennifer L. Westendorf in Delafield, WI. Brian was a marriage and family therapist and founder of Choices Family Education Service in Sheboygan since 1993. Brian was a member of the Evangelical Free Church in Sheboygan, where he was a Sunday school teacher. He was a member of Americans for Prosperity. Brian enjoyed music, movies, plants, but most of all, spending time with his family. Brian is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jennifer; his seven daughters, Laura Fears of Milwaukee, Esther Fears of Spooner, Joyce, Natalie, Nadia, Kailyana, and Sarah Fears, all of Howards Grove; three sons, Joshua Fears of Green Bay, B. Darnell and Andrew Fears, both of Howards Grove; his father, Joseph Bobbit of Buffalo; his mother, Joyce Fears of Buffalo; three sisters, Lisa (John) Banks, Valerie Fears, and Cheryl Fears, all of Buffalo; one brother, Leonard (Cindy) Fears of Cheektowaga, NY; mother-in-law, Jackie Westendorf of Pewaukee; and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, and father-in-law, Rollin Westendorf. Funeral services to celebrate Brian's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Evangelical Free Church in Sheboygan with Dr. Gary Hylander officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the church on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and also on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00. A memorial fund has been established in Brian's name for the Evangelical Free Church - Love in Action Fund.
