Bonnie Paddeck

Bonnie Paddeck, 68, of Santee, CA, passed away on January 6, 2022, in La Mesa, CA.

Bonnie Ten Haken was born on August 18, 1953, to Kenneth & Mariam “Mary” (Huenink) Ten Haken. On September 5, 1981, Bonnie Ten Haken joined Edward Paddeck in marriage at the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Cedar Grove. She studied imaging technology and worked as an x-ray technician and medical assistant for a few decades. Yet, her greatest pride lay in her role as a devoted wife and dedicated mother and grandmother. Her priorities were caring for her family. Her time and talent went to her family, which has made a lasting impact. Bonnie was warm, caring, generous, and compassionate. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Ed Paddeck of Santee, CA; daughters, Tasha (John) Chassin of El Cajon, CA, Amber (Chad) Aiken of Pearland, TX; two grandchildren, Jaxson, Nora; father, Kenneth Ten Haken of Cedar Grove; siblings, John (Julie) Ten Haken of Cedar Grove, Joan (Gary) Dunn of Cedar Grove, Lynn (Wayne) Olsen of Cedar Grove. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Mariam “Mary” Ten Haken; parents-in-law, James & Doris Barrows; brother-in-law, Robert Binsfeld.

Funeral Services will take place at the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Cedar Grove on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:00 am. A visitation will take place at church starting at 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the service at Presbyterian Cemetery in the Town of Holland. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to First Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Cedar Grove. The Wenig Funeral Home of Oostburg (920-564-2771) is serving the family with arrangements.
