Beverly A. (Rabida) Moore, 80, of Fort McCoy, Florida, and a longtime former resident of Chilton and Fond du Lac, died on Monday, March 10, 2008 at her home in Florida. Beverly was born on June 25, 1927 in Clintonville, the daughter of the late Edward and Bernice (McCabe) Wolf. She graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1945. Bev married the late James L. Rabida on June 12, 1948 in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1990. On June 30, 1995 she married the late Albert McCabe in Waukesha. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2004. Bev married Clarence Moore on April 30, 2006 in Fort McCoy, Florida. Bev, along with her husband, owned and operated the Rabida TV and Paint Store in Chilton from 1957-1972. She also worked at the K-Mart in Fond du Lac from 1979-85, prior to her retirement. Bev was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Chilton, Friends of the Chilton Library, and was a charter and lifetime member of the Chilton Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing in many bridge marathons, doing crossword puzzles, playing keyboard, and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Moore of Ft. McCoy, Florida; six daughters, Marcia (Don) Kulibert of North Fond du Lac, Gera Judge of Fort McCoy, FL, LeeAnna Rabida of Ft. McCoy, FL, Ginger (Paul) Stephanie of St. Cloud, Barbara (John) Wenig of Oostburg, Rebecca (Mark) Sanders of Springfield, Ohio; one son, Jay (Janet) Rabida of Chilton; 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, two brothers, Dale (Carol) Wolf of St. Louis, MO, and Tom (Marge) Wolf of Green Bay; two sisters-in-law, Denise Wolf of Goodyear, AZ, and Roz Huntington of Tucson , AZ; three step daughters, Paula (David) Glenzer of Oconomowoc, JoAnn (David) Hilson of MacClenny, FL, Nancy Sluski of Lakeland, FL; one stepson, George (Dawn) Moore of Ocala, FL; step grandchildren; and step great grandchildren. Bev is also survived by longtime and dear friends, Kay, Ginny, Marilyn, Evelyn, and Helen. Bev was preceded in death by her first and second husband; an infant daughter, Mary Lou Rabida; an infant grandson, Andrew Wenig; one sister, Connie Kluth; and one brother, Joseph Wolf. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Good Shepherd Catholic Parish in Chilton at 11:30 am on Monday, March 17, 2008, with Fr. Bob Kolath, officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Chilton. Friends may greet the family at the Wieting Family Funeral Home in Chilton from 2-6 pm on Sunday, March 16, 2008, and on Monday, from 10 am until the time of prayers at 11 am.
