Beth Denise Kuiper

Beth Denise Kuiper (Soerens), born August 17, 1967, died and entered the embrace of her savior Jesus on January 20, 2025, at the age of 57.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Laverne Soerens (Vanderweele), and by her father-in-law Kenneth Kuiper. She is survived by her husband, James Kuiper, and her beloved children Nicholas and Kailey, Jamie and Andrew, and Rachael, who brought her mountains of joy and laughter in life.

Beth was a woman of faith in Jesus, and she loved living into her work and church community. That love and faith was evident in everything she did, from the strokes of her paintbrush as an artist to helping people find books at the library and to the conversations around the Bible and book studies. Known for her tun-loving and people-loving nature, beth brought much laughter into the lives of people she met.

Her life was a testament to her faith, love and creative soul. While her death leaves a big hole in our lives, we take comfort in knowing she is now at home with Jesus, experiencing the eternal joy, health and peace in which she so faithfully believed.

We will have a time of public visiting with family Friday, January 24, 5-8 pm at Rehoboth Church in Rehoboth, NM. On Saturday, January 25, 10 am, Pastor Evelyn Benally will hold Beth and her family and friends up to the Lord Jesus in a funeral service, followed immediately by burial. A celebration of life will follow at a venue yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, any monies may be directed to student financial support at Rehoboth Christian School, Gallup, NM.
