Bernette Janssen

Bernette "Beanie" Janssen, 77, of 682 Shelly Drive, Sheboygan Falls, peacefully went home to her Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at her home. Beanie was born on September 29, 1931 in Taycheedah in Fond du Lac County, the daughter of the late Casper and Julia (Koenigs) Enders. She was a 1949 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. On June 10, 1950 she married William H. Janssen in Sheboygan Falls. Beanie was employed with Chaplin Aviation for 20 years until the time of her retirement in 1988. Beanie was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed bridge, knitting, golf, traveling, and dancing. Survivors include three sons, Jeff Janssen of Sheboygan Falls, Jon "Jack" (Patty) Janssen of Sheboygan, and Jay (Meganne) Janssen of Zimbrota, MN; five grandchildren, Samantha Janssen, A.J. and Sam Storrs, and Thomas and Luke Janssen; three sisters, Verena (Peter) Bachmann of Sheboygan Falls, Kathy (John) Mervar of Sheboygan, and Sally (Steve) Dahlby of Rochester, MN; two brothers, Donald (Joyce) Enders of Ohio, Eugene (Linda) Enders of New Holstein; sister-in-law Cyrilla Danks of Sheboygan Falls, and son-in-law Pat (Nancy) Storrs of West Bend. Beanie was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Jayne Storrs; and two sons, Joel and James Janssen. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday June 4, 2009 at 11:00 at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 5-7 pm and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am.
