Beatrice A. Visser, 97, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday morning, August 28, 2014, at Pine Haven Christian Home. Beatrice was born on April 30, 1917, Saskatchewan, Canada, daughter of Lewis and Mae (Adams) Morken. She was a 1934 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. On September 1, 1939, Beatrice married Robert Visser in Sheboygan Falls. Robert passed away on June 1, 1969. Beatrice was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, where she was the choir director. She enjoyed her bridge club, bowling, and fishing, and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers. Beatrice will be remembered as Mrs. Bob's lunch. She was the co-author of the Sheboygan Falls High School fight song. Beatrice is survived by four daughters, Sara (Robert) Lammers of Oostburg, Norma Anderson of Appleton, Linda (Charles) Thurber of Sheboygan Falls, and Betty Zimmerman of Sheboygan Falls; eight grandchildren, Teri (Scott) Hittman, Bryon (Noelle) Lammers, James (Angela) Lammers, Ben Anderson, Abby Anderson, Bob (Summer) Lawrence, Kyle Thurber, and Steve Thurber; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Bud Visser of Menomonee Falls; and nephew, Ron Morken. Beatrice is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Robert, her parents, one brother, Howard (Gladys) Morken, two brothers-in-law, Ray Visser and Harold Visser, one sister-in-law, Bernice Lemke, and niece, Pam Morken.
