Barbara Ann Ahrens, 77, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 surrounded by her family.Barbara was born on June 7, 1940, in Sheboygan to Joseph and Norma (Guetschow) Sejba. Barbara was a 1958 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. On April 22, 1961 Barbara married LeRoy Ahrens in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2013. Barbara was a CNA at Pine Haven Christian Homes.Barbara was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls. She was an avid sports fan, especially the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, she also enjoyed watching golf and playing cards. Barbara looked forward to her bus trips to Oneida to play bingo. Barbara enjoyed cooking and baking, always making sure the cookie jar was filled. Barbara loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time together. Barbara is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Joel) Bertram of Howards Grove and Amy (Terry) Debbink of Sheboygan Falls; two sons, Tim (speical friend Barbara Hilbelink) Ahrens of Sheboygan Falls and Jeff (Bobbi) Ahrens of Plymouth; eight grandchildren, Sara Peters, Stacey (Tyler) Meyer, Garrett (special friend Abbie Lindl) Debbink, Brandon (Abby) Debbink, Abby (fiance Adam Smith) Debbink, Greta Debbink, Donovan Ahrens, and Briana Ahrens; two great-grandchildren, Peyton Peters, Josie Peters; four sisters, Sandra (Richard) Dolgner, Janet (Vernon) Conrad, Carol (Bill) Fleming, and Lynda Sejba; two sisters-in-laws, Carol Randall and Jeannie Ahrens. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, LeRoy; brother-in-law, Ronald Ahrens; special aunt, Mary Jane Sejba; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Milton (Violet) Ahrens. A funeral service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls at 7pm, with Rev. Dale Miller officiating. An inurnment will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 4pm until the time of service at 7pm.
