Audrey Ann Steenport, 83, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2017, at. Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.Audrey was born on July 12, 1934, in Sheboygan to Arthur and Anida (Rosenbauer) Jochmann. She was a 1952 graduate of New Holstein High School. On April 25, 1953 she married James Steenport, they had three children together. Audrey was employed at Steenport Heating and Air Conditioning for years doing clerical work. Later in life she obtained her CNA certificate and worked part time as a CNA at Calumet Memorial Hospital and the VNA of Sheboygan Audrey was a former member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton where she was a member of the altar guilld. She also volunteered with Camp Fire girls and the Cub Scouts. She was also a member of the Jaycees and Jaycettes,and the Chilton dance club. Audrey enjoyed babysitting for many children over the years, baking, especially her chocolate eclairs, doing arts and crafts, day trips to the casino, and camping, Audrey is survived by her three children, Jamie (Jerrilyn Rooney) Steenport of Hygiene, CO, John (Sybilla) Steenport of Abrams, WI and Amy (Stephen) Wenger of Surprise, AZ; five grandchildren, Erin Wenger, Zachary (Kyla) Wenger, Casey (Allison) Steenport, Nathan (Christine) Steenport, and Kyle Steenport; and three Great-Grandchildren, Ellasyn Jackson, Benjamin Steenport, Vail Steenport. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mildred Kotsch, and Dorothy Deffke; and one brother, Gordon Jochmann; Cremation is taking place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
