Audrey Bentz

Audrey B. Bentz, 89, of Albany, NY died at her daughter Patti's home on Sunday morning, July 26, 2015 with her two daughters at her side. Audrey was born on April 26, 1926 in Schenectady, NY, the daughter of the late Harry and Mabel (Shaver) Fitzpatrick. Audrey married Peter Bentz on September 22, 1946 in Albany NY. He preceded her in death on January 9, 1998. Audrey was a childcare technician for many years at St. Peter Hospital in Albany, NY. She is a member of the Greater Albany Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed knitting and time with her family. Audrey is survived by two daughters, Judith (Wayne) Eells of Albany, NY and Patti (John) Harrison of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Wayne Jr. (Jennifer) Eells, Christopher (Buffy) Eells, Joe (Margaret) Harrison, Katherine (Jonathan) Belval and Mike (Aimee) Harrison; twelve great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, and one brother, Charles Fitzpatrick. A funeral to celebrate Audrey's life will take place at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls at 1 pm on Thursday, July 30, 2015 with the Rev. Steve Petry officiating, Burial will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. Family and friends will gather at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday from 11 am until the time of the service at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in her memory for the Sheboygan Seventh Day Adventist Church.
