Arnice A. Marcheske, 95, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at her home. Arnice was born on February 10, 1919, daughter of William G. and Meta (Altschwager) Athorp. She attended her first two years of high school in Tonica, IL, graduating at Kohler High School in 1937. Arnice married Alfred Boedecker in 1940. On June 29, 1957, she married Clarence A. Marcheske in Kohler. Clarence passed away on May 29, 2011. Arnice was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, sewing, baking, vegetable gardening, and playing sheepshead. Arnice is survived by her two daughters, Marietta (Paul) Klauck of Sheboygan Falls and Marcy Marcheske of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, Christina (Randall) Klauck-Langer and Drew Hoblitzell; two great-grandchildren, Holly and Nicholas Langer; and one sister, Jeanette Vogel. Arnice is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Arnice was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clarence, her parents, her sister, Verona Prange, brothers and sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Private family services to celebrate Arnice's life will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Alan Kretschmar officiating. Burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler. A memorial fund has been established in Arnice's name for St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. A special thank you to Rev. Kretschmar, Rev.
