Arlene Johanna

Arlene J. Back, 87, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012, at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls. Arlene was born on October 15, 1924, in the Town of Lima, daughter of Jesse and Jennie (Hesselink) Back. She was employed with Musebeck Shoe Factory for many years until her retirement in 1989. Arlene was a member of Gibbsville Reformed Church, where she was member of the Women's Society and the choir. She was a volunteer at Pine Haven Christian Home. Arlene enjoyed playing piano and organ, puzzles, gardening, and games. Arlene is survived by one sister-in-law, Wilma Back of Pine Haven Christian Home; one niece, Marge (Tim) Pittner of Sheboygan; one nephew, Mike (Anna) Back of Sheboygan Falls; three great nieces, Amanda (Ben) Kuehmichel and their children, Aleah and Eliana, Alicia (friend Jared Mueller) Back, Jessi Pittner; three great nephews, Matt (Stephanie) Back and their sons, Joseph, Tate, and Rylan, Adam (Sarah) Pittner, Luke Pittner; other relatives and friends. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Milton Back, one niece Karen Back. Funeral services to celebrate Arlene's life will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg with Rev. David Van Dixhorn officiating. Interment will take place in Gibbsville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 3:00 pm until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in Arlene name for Gibbsville Reformed Church and Pine Haven Christian Home.
