Anton C. "Tony" Leicht, 79, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Tony was born on September 11, 1936, in Sheboygan, son of William and Hulda (Levsen) Leicht. He attended Sheboygan Falls High School and was a 1954 graduate of Plymouth High School. Tony began serving in the US Navy, abroad the USS Lexington in 1954. On July 11, 1959, he married Diane Michallick in Chicago. They had six children. Later in life he married Lois Walter on September 11, 2004, at Fountain Park United Methodist Church in Sheboygan. Tony was a Master Plumber for more than 35 years, working for Rohde Bros., JF Ahern, Advance Mechanical, and Aldag Honold. Tony was a member of the 2-Cylinder Club and the Local 400. He enjoyed John Deere tractors, downhill skiing, cross country motorcycle trips, golfing, fabricating, tractor pulls, stock car racing, and dancing. Tony built four homes, including a totally rebuilt old farm house. His travels included Route 66 and all 50 states, but he believed Wisconsin was the best state in the country. Tony is survived by his wife of eleven years, Lois; his two daughters, Dawn (David) Brulla of Sheboygan and Robin (Tim) Maas of Adell; his three sons, Brad (Chris) Leicht of Sheboygan Falls, Dean (Jean) Leicht of Plymouth, and Rod (Laura) Leicht of Waldo; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two step-sons, Randy (Regina) Walter and Russell (Cindy) Walter; and other relatives and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Brian Leicht, one sister, Nelda Schultz, and step-son, Ryan Walter. A memorial service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Warren Waddel officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Lucas Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:30 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Tony's name.
