Anthony "Tony" Zehel, 61, of Oostburg passed away on December 23, 2014 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. Tony was born on November 11, 1953 in Sheboygan to Adolph and Mary (Andrews) Zehel. He attended Oostburg High School and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1971-1974. On October 7, 1978 he married Gale Kreuser in Sheboygan. Tony worked 38 years in the enamel shop for the Kohler Company. Tony was a member of the Kohler Veterans Committee. He enjoyed playing softball, trapshooting and archery. Tony is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gale; his two sons, Justin (Leah) Zehel of Sheboygan Falls and Michael Zehel of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Tanner, Riley, Hannah and Hunter; his mother, Mary Genske; one sister, Debra (Jeff Miller) Heidenreiter; three brothers, Patrick Zehel, Scott (Brenda) Zehel, and Rob Zehel; one brother-in-law, Harry (Katherine) Kreuser; two sisters-in-law, Lynn (William) Evans and Dawn (Garret) VanWagenen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, his twin daughters, Jessie and Jamie; his father and mother-in-law, Edwin and Jean Kreuser. A Memorial Service to celebrate Tony's life will be on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 4pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Brian Jacobson officiating. Relatives and friends may call upon the family on Monday at the funeral home from 1pm until the time of service at 4pm. A memorial fund for the American Red Cross in Tony's name is being established.
