Anthony Feider Sr.

Anthony Joseph Feider Sr. "Tony" age 81 of Sheboygan formerly of Cedar Grove and Dacada, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on October 1st, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 23rd, 1935 in the Town of Holland a son of the late J.P. Feider and Annie (Lauras) Feider. Tony attended St. Nicholas Parochial School, Dacada, St Lawrence Seminary in Mt. Calvary, Marquette H.S., and graduated from Pius XI H.S. in Milwaukee. He served for six years in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage Alaska. Tony married Loretta Ireland on December 27, 1954 at St. Catherine of Alexandria in Mapleton, Wisconsin. Following his time in the military he worked for two years as a cabinet maker in Random Lake. He spent his remaining working years as a machinist for Bolens Outdoor Power Equipment in Port Washington. Tony was actively involved as a representative with the local Union IAM. After retirement he enjoyed traveling and spent winters in Texas. His many hobbies over the years included Bowling, Chess, Fishing, Boating, Travel, Hunting, reading, Snowmobiling, and he was an avid Packer fan. Tony was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church (Random Lake) formerly St. Nicholas Parish, Dacada and member of the Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife Loretta; two sons, Anthony Jr. (Sheila) Feider of Hubertus; Stuart Feider of Milwaukee; four daughters, Mary (John) Feider Wean of Oconomowoc, Sheila (Dennis) Feider Kappers of Cedar Grove; Deborah (Brian) Feider Rauwerdink of Cedar Grove; Kim (Ron) Feider Smies of Oostburg; 13 grandchildren, Eric (Maria) and Justin (Ashley) Feider, Stefanie Buchberger; Matthew, Christopher, and David Wean; Jeremiah (Tiffany), Rachel, and Adam Rauwerdink; Jerrod (Brianna) Kappers, Sarah (Rafael Magana) Kappers ; Joshua and Joseph Smies;10 great-grandchildren, Hunter Buchberger, Benjamin and Isabella Feider; Paige Kappers; Cole, Brooke, and Finn Rauwerdink; Dominic Weber; Emma and Alexis Rauwerdink; 1 brothers; Francis (Sharon) Feider of Elkhart Lake; 3 sisters; Helen (the late Ray) Schultz of Mequon; Margaret (the late Marvin) Mueller of Newton; Mary Ann (Joseph) Kirklewski of Grafton; sister-in-law; Marion (the late Elmer) Feider; and many other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were son Joseph Peter Feider II; brothers, James, Robert, Dr. Arnold (the late Lucille); Leon; Elmer (Marion), Wilmer (the late Marella), and Joseph (the late Elaine) Feider; sisters, Sr. Mary Helen Feider and Bernice Feider, and Dolores (the late Oscar) Schmidt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, October 7th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada. Fr. Guy Gurath, will be the celebrant, and burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Dacada. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6th and at the church on Friday morning, October 7th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. Military Rites will be held at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.Reception:Five Pillars Supper ClubW2990 County Road KRandom Lake, WI 53075
