Ann Klauser

Ann L. Klauser, 88, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at the Sheboygan Senior Community in the Town of Sheboygan. Ann was born on March 27, 1927, in Mechelen, Belgium, daughter of J. Robert and Mathilda (Meyes) Van Hoof. On October 30, 1945, she married Carl Klauser in Malines, Belgium, while he was serving with the US Army during the liberation of Belgium. Carl passed away on February 27, 2001. Ann was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed reading, gardening, needlework, cooking, and celebrating life with her family. Ann is survived by her two daughters, Nancy (Robert) Reseburg and Leslie (David) Kaeppel both of Sheboygan Falls; five grandchildren, Amy Roe, Lori (Glenn) Naumann, Robert Reseburg Jr., and Samuel (Sydney) and Sean Kaeppel; four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Luke Roe, Courtney Reseburg, and Finn Kaeppel; and many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Carl. Funeral services to celebrate Ann's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ann's name for St. Paul Lutheran Church and Salvation Army.
