Ann M. Eernisse, 64, of Irma and formerly of Oostburg, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her home.
Ann was born April 25, 1957 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Edward and Alice (Johnson) Krostag. She married Ivan J. Eernisse on June 21, 1975 in Oostburg, Wisconsin. Ann worked in the office at Lake Ellen Stone in Cascade and Adell, Wisconsin for 16 years, she also had a daycare service in her home for 32 years. Ivan and Ann moved to the Tomahawk area in 2010 and she worked as a CNA at Riverview and Milestone Assisted Living. She loved children, helping others, and flower gardening. She was a member of Northwood’s Vineyard Church in Tomahawk.
Surviving Ann is her husband, Ivan; five children, April (Joe) Schramm, Maine; Amy (John) Eernisse-Liang, California; Mike Eernisse, Ogema; Jan (Patty) Eernisse, Oostburg; and Jamie (Heidi) Eernisse also of Oostburg, Wisconsin. She is further survived by 4 brothers, Eddie Krostag, Sheboygan, Jim Krostag, Oostburg, John (Carla) Krostag, Oostburg, and Willie (Shirley) Krostag, Antigo. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren (Emily, Taylor, Jacob, Hailey, Zane, Silas, Thurston, and Chance) and special nephew and nieces, Tony (Kristin)Krostag, Alison Krostag and Helen Bell. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Jennifer, and a sister-in-law, Denise Krostag.
Funeral Services for Ann Eernisse will be held on Thursday, September 2, 11:00 a.m. at Northwood’s Vineyard Church. Nate Nelson will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00.
There will be a visitation Friday evening, September 3, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg, Wisconsin. Burial will take place on Saturday, September 4, 10:00 a.m. at the Oostburg Cemetery.
Krueger Family Funeral Home and Wenig Funeral Home are assisting the family.
