Alvin Walters Jr.

Alvin "Ollie" E. Walters, Jr., 74, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Al was born February 24, 1938 in Sheboygan to Alvin, Sr. and Antonia (Leon) Walters. He attended Sheboygan Falls Elementary School. Al served in the U.S. Army for three years with his tour of duty in Germany. On July 11, 1959, Al married Deloris Reseburg at Zion UCC in Sheboygan. Al worked at Armira Leather in Sheboygan and Tecumseh in Sheboygan Falls until his retirement in 2000. He loved spending time with his family. Al also enjoyed meeting with his friends and spending time with his dogs. Al is survived by his wife, Deloris; one daughter, Susan Walters of Sheboygan; two sons, Michael (Michelle) Walters of Sheboygan and David Walters of Milwaukee; two grandsons, Devin and Erik Walters; one brother, Wayne Walters of Sheboygan Falls; one sister-in-law, Carol Walters of St. Anna; one brother-in-law, Arno Reseburg, Jr.; one niece, Laurie Tuszynski; cousins, and friends. Al was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marjorie Walters; one brother Edward Walters; father and mother-in-law, Arno and Myritha Reseburg, Sr. Private family services were held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. A memorial service to celebrate Al's life will be held at a later date. A memorial fund will be established in Al's name at a later date. Al's family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Kumar and the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and the staff at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for their wonderful care and compassion.
