Alvin Kramer

Alvin R. Kramer, 76, of, Sheboygan Falls, died on Sunday morning, May 30, 2010 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls. Alvin was born on August 31, 1933 in Marshfield, the son of the late Edward and Frances (Neumann) Kramer. He attended school in the Marshfield area. Alvin was in the US Army serving in Germany from 1956-58. On June 18, 1960, he married Beverly Mueller in Kohler. Alvin worked in the engine plant at the Kohler Co. for 41 years before his retirement in 1996. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls and the Kohler Quarter Century Club. He was an avid antique collector, NASCAR fan, in particular Kyle Busch; and enjoyed traveling, gardening, yardwork and tinkering. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; one sister, Geraldine Rhodes of Marshfield; two brothers, Richard (Joan) Kramer of Howards Grove and LeRoy (Carol) Kramer of Plymouth; four sisters-in-law, Barbara Ruppel, Rosemary (Wayne) Lohse, and Linda (David) Billmann, all of Sheboygan, and Vicki (Bob) Mavis of Sheboygan Falls; six brothers-in-law, Ronald (Clara), Gerald (Sandy), Clarence and David J. Mueller, all of Sheboygan, Thomas (Martha) Mueller of Sheboygan Falls, and Dale (Diane) Mueller of Cleveland. Alvin is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Frances Kramer; his parents-in-law, Leo and Mildred Mueller; and four brothers-in-law, Donald Rhodes, Warren and Marlin Mueller, and Roger Ruppel. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11:30 am with the Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Entombment and Military Honors will take place at the Gardens of Peace in the Town of Sheboygan. Friends may greet the family at Blessed Trinity Parish on Wednesday from 9:30 until the time of the Mass at 11:30 am.
