Albertha Anderson

Albertha D. Anderson, 93, of Oostburg, died on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls. Albertha was born on March 25, 1916 in the Town of Holland, the daughter of the late Herman and Gertrude (TeStroote) Koskamp. Albertha was a 1933 graduate of Oostburg High School and graduated from Sheboygan Business College. She married the late Chester A. Anderson on June 29, 1957 in Crandon. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1983. Albertha worked at the Oostburg State Bank as an assistant cashier from 1946 until her retirement in 1981. She was a lifelong member of the First Reformed Church in Oostburg and the Mission Circle. Survivors include a stepson, Andre L. (Dorine) Anderson of Sheboygan; three step grandchildren, Cindy (Joseph) Schickert, Michael (Kim) Anderson, and Keith Anderson; cousins, Linda (Roger) Buyze, Sandy (Tom) Nyenhuis, Gail (Lee) LeMahieu, and James (Lori) TeStroote. She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandson, Scott Anderson; a sister, Dorothy Anderson; and cousins, Allan, Lauretta, and Dennis TeStroote. Funeral services will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 11 am with the Rev Brian Taylor officiating. Burial will take place at the Oostburg Cemetery in the Town of Holland. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 10 am until the time of the service.
