Albert "Buster" F. Aschebrock, 72, of 525 Bluebill Lane #1, Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, September 22, 2009 at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side. Al was born on June 8, 1937 in Stratford, WI, son of the late Edwin and Bertha (Ewert) Aschebrock. He attended schools in Stratford and Wausau, WI. After graduation, Al served in the US Air Force, stationed at Fort McCord in the State of Washington. He was employed at the Kohler Company in Kohler for 40 years and a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club. He was previously married to Clarice Ulledahl in 1958. On January 16, 1989 he married Shirley Blake in Sheboygan. Al enjoyed watching all types of sports, especially the Packers and Brewers, fishing with his buddies, golfing, dancing, woodworking, and traveling. He will be greatly missed by the morning coffee group at his winter residence in Arizona. Survivors include his wife, Shirley; two sons, Calvin (Tori) Aschebrock of Hurley, WI and Steven (Ginger) Aschebrock of Sheboygan; one daughter, Lisa (Bob) Wappler of Plymouth; a stepdaughter, Barbara (Cal) Dora of Howards Grove, a stepson, Tony Blake of Sheboygan; two granddaughters, Tracy Bertram of Plymouth, and Maggie Aschebrock of Hurley; a grandson, Ryan Bertram of Glenbeulah; two step-granddaughters, Rebecca and Megan Dora of Howards Grove; and two great-grandsons, Devin and Neil. Al is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends and his dog Chica. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Beverly Ceranski of Saukville, WI. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 2:00 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Mark Janzen officiating. Friends and family may call at the church on Saturday from 12:00 until the time of service at 2:00. A memorial fund will be established in Albert's name.
