Agnes Siech

Agnes J. Siech, 94, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully and went home on Tuesday evening, June 23, 2015, at Countryside Manor. She was greeted by her beloved husband and best friend on their 64th wedding anniversary. Agnes was born February 1, 1921, in Milwaukee, daughter of Michael and Mary (Kurowski) Iwanciow. She was a 1939 graduate of Kohler High School and attended Sheboygan Vocational School. On June 23, 1951 she married Adolph "Buddy" Siech at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler. Buddy passed away on May 20, 2011. Agnes was employed in the stenography department with Kohler Company until her sons were born. Once the boys were older, she worked part-time for Roman Wagner Insurance Agency in Sheboygan for a few years, then returning to Kohler Company until her retirement at the age of 62. Agnes was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler. She enjoyed reading, counted cross-stitch, golfing, gardening, traveling, and being a snowbird during the winter months. Agnes loved taking care of her husband and enjoyed her grandchildren. Agnes is survived by her two sons, Thomas (JoAnn) Siech of Ballwin, MO and David (Bonnie) Siech of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, John (Kelly) Siech, James Siech, Jacob (Katie) Siech, Natalie (Ryan) Nolan, and Peter (fiancée Hannah McAllister)Siech; three great-grandchildren, Caden, Calleigh, and Kyra Siech; two brothers-in-law, Julius and Ewald Siech. Agnes is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Agnes was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Buddy, her parents, one sister, Caroline Talaga, and one brother, Bernard Iwanciow, and brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services to celebrate Agnes' life will be at 3:00 pm on Monday, June 29, 2015, at St. Peter Claver Church in Sheboygan with Rev. Richard Cerpich and Deacon Michael Burch officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Kohler. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm at the church. A memorial fund has been established in Agnes' name for Bethany Lutheran Church. A special thank you to Rev.
