Adolph "Buddy" C. Siech, 96, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at Meadow View Manor in Sheboygan. Buddy was born December 28, 1914 in Gillett, WI to Karl and Maria (Greb) Siech. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School in Gillett. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as PFC in the 3rd Armored Division, serving in many conflicts, including the Invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. On June 23, 1951 he married Agnes Iwanciow at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler. Buddy worked at Kohler Co. in the Brass Division for 41 years, retiring in 1980. Buddy was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler and the Kohler Quarter Century Club. He also was a member of the 3rd Armored Division Association and the American Legion. Buddy enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, bowling, woodworking, gardening, and golfing. Together with Agnes they enjoyed traveling and being snow-birds. Buddy is survived by his: loving wife of 59 years, Agnes; two sons, Thomas (JoAnn) Siech of Ballwin, MO and David (Bonnie) Siech of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, John (Kelly) Siech, James Siech, Jacob (fiancée Katie Park) Siech, Natalie (fiancé Ryan Nolan) Siech, and Peter Siech; two great-grandchildren, Cade and Calleigh Siech; one sister, Olga Krause of Gillett, WI; three brothers, Otto Siech of Minocqua, WI Julius Siech of Sheboygan, and Ewald Siech of Plymouth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Buddy was preceded in death by his: parents; five brothers, Edward, Herman, Rudolph, Henry, Marvin; two sisters, Blanche Lockstein and Mary Walsh; four sisters-in-law, Juanita, Ruth, Ginny, and Florence; three brothers-in-law, Lyman Krause, Tom Walsh, and Adolph Lockstein. Funeral services to celebrate Buddy's life will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler with Rev. Robert Steele officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery in the Village of Kohler with full military honors. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 10:00 am until the time of the service Tuesday at the church. A memorial fund has been established in Buddy's name.
