Richard Wolfert

Richard "Rick" F. Wolfert, 53, of N4310 Claver Court, Sheboygan Falls and formerly of Oostburg, died on Saturday night, May 1, 2010 at St. Luke Medical Center in Milwaukee. Rick was born on November 21, 1956 in Sheboygan, the son of the late Richard J. and Pauline (Bialek) Wolfert. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1973. On October 8, 1983 he married Sandra Pantel in Sheboygan. Rick worked at VPI in Sheboygan for over 25 years before his disability retirement in 2006. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Oostburg and enjoyed, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, spending time outdoor, and attending car shows. Rick is survived by his wife, Sandra of Sheboygan Falls; one daughter Tracy Floyd of Sheboygan; one son, Nicholas (Beth) Wolfert of Sheboygan Falls; three grandchildren, Dante and Devin Floyd, and Sara Keippel; two sisters, Debbie (Andy) Deligiannis of Sheboygan and Amy (Scott) Rabe of Kansasville; one brother, Terry (Linda) Wolfert of Sheboygan Falls; his parents-in-law, Stanley and Betty Pantel of Sheboygan; one sister-in-law, Pat (Robert) Vercouteren of Oostburg; one brother-in-law, Dave Pantel of Sheboygan; nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one sister-in-law. A memorial service will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 6 pm with the Rev. Walter Hackney officiating. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Friday from 4-6 pm.
