John Pollard

John P. Pollard, 57, of Sheboygan, formerly of Watertown, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. John was born October 9, 1952 in Hammond, IN to Anthony and Barbara (Williamson) Pollard. He was a 1970 graduate of Gavit High School in Hammond and then graduated from Indiana University. On June 2, 1973 he married Beverly Ann Wester in Hammond, IN. Beverly passed away August 13, 2006. John worked as a cost estimator in marketing for Vollrath Company for over 20 years. He loved spending time with his family and coaching his sons in a variety of sports. He enjoyed boating, cooking, fishing, traveling, and reading. John is survived by his: two sons, Joseph Pollard of Sheboygan, WI and Jason (Amy) Pollard of West Bend, WI; parents, Anthony and Barbara Pollard of Ocala, FL; one sister, Janelle Pollard of Hebron, IN; three brothers, Kevin (Kathy) of Portage, IN, Jeffrey (Rosemary) of Crossville, Tenn., Keith Pollard of Milwaukee, WI; nieces and nephews, Austin Pollard, Michael (Kris) Pollard, Jennifer (Tony) Elizondo, Jonathon and Stephen Pollard, Tony and Keith Wester; father-in-law, Denny Wester; other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his: wife, Beverly; two uncles, Jim and David Williamson; mother-in-law, Wilma Wester; brother-in-law, Keith Wester. A celebration of John's life will be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. A committal service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 1, 2010 in the South Committal Chapel at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Indiana. A memorial fund is being established in John's name for the American Cancer Society.
